What should I tell my care team before I take this medication?
They need to know if you have any of these conditions:

Kidney disease
Liver disease
Lung or breathing disease
Mental health condition
Substance use disorder
Suicidal thoughts, plans, or attempt by you or a family member
An unusual or allergic reaction to triazolam, other benzodiazepines, foods, dyes, or preservatives
Pregnant or trying to get pregnant
Breast-feeding
How should I use this medication?
Take this medication by mouth with a glass of water. It is only for use at bedtime. Follow the directions on the prescription label. Do not take your medication more often than directed. If you have been taking this medication regularly for some time, do not suddenly stop taking it. You must gradually reduce the dose or you may get severe side effects. Ask your care team for advice. Even after you stop taking this medication it can still affect your body for several days.
